The story takes place in Texas and New York. The main characters are Ruby Mae and her nephew,Billy Bob. Ruby Mae does not talk right. Billy Bob invents the Bobatron made out of gadgets. When Ruby Mae wears the Bobatron under her hat she speaks correctly.
I like the book because it is funny when Ruby Mae jumbles her words. The book is very interesting because Ruby Mae's hats are always growing in size. Lastly the pictures are colorful.
I would recomment this book to people who like hats.
