Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew: Scream for Ice Cream

Have you ever made homemade ice cream? The book Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew: Scream for Ice Cream by Carolyn Keene is about three girls who solve all different mysteries! In the beginning, Nancy and her friends hear that there is an ice cream contest at Jim and Barry’s ice cream factory. Next, they each make ice cream for the contest. One day, Nancy’s friend shows off her ice cream which is bad because you need to keep it a secret. After that, Nancy and her friends put their ice cream in the freezer for the contest the next day. When they come back to check on the ice cream... it’s on the floor! In the end, Kendra and Deirdre become friends, but did the flavor Clue Berry win or not? You’re going to have to read the rest of the book to see what happens!

In my opinion Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew: Scream for Ice Cream by Carolyn Keene is a very mysterious book! First, this book teaches you about compromise. For example, the Clue Crew has to name an ice cream flavor and they all have to agree. These characters also have perseverance. They never give up when facing difficult times like when their friend loses her ice cream for the contest. Nancy and her friend can’t find it and even though the contest is the next day they never give up! Lastly, the characters need to cooperate. The Clue Crew has to work together to solve a problem. They work together to help a friend in the ice cream contest. For all these reasons, you'll never forget this mysterious, enjoyable, worthwhile book!!
