Magic Mischief

Arthur Goodenough is a normal boy who goes to school, lives with a normal family, and never believed in magic. When he steps foot in Hardbattle bookstore he expects to find books and a quiet place to do his homework. But he finds something he never believed in: magic. Mr. Hardbattle explains that his store is overun with magic and magic can cause damage to his store. The magic wipes all his customers away because of an awful smell. Read this book to see how they try to attract his customers back and how they find a new a place for the magic.

I really loved this book because it talked about magic and I like magic. My favorite part of the book is when Mrs.Quint opens a book and wishes the people were there and it works!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Favorite character is Arthur because he is involved in studies and does not have time to talk. This book is part of a series. They are similar because they all talk about magic and spells. The difference is that the characters are different.

I highly recommend this book to kids in 4th and 5th grade and to those who like fantasy and books about magic.
