Geronimo Sliton: Mighty Mount Kilimanjaro

This book is about Geronimo Silton. I cannot believe it! Bruce Hyena is taking me to climb Mound Kilimanjaro says Geronimo. But he is not sure about that because he thinks he might die. Then the phone rang and it was Boris Van Cacklefur, his friend. Boris told him that he heard Geronimo was going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and he said if you die I have a coffin ready for you, so don't worry. Geronimo felt a shiver go down his back. The next day when they climbed up the mountain a lot of crazy and serious stuff happened. Read this book to see what happened on their trip up Mount Kilimanjaro.

My favorite part was when Geronimo drank cold ice water and fainted. He rolled down the snow and could not get up. The ice cold water was so cold that I would not have wanted to drink it. I like the way the author wrote the words in different styles. For example, the word tornado was written swirly like a real tornado. The illustrations looked real because they looked the same way they did in your mind.

I recommend this book to people who like adventures and humor. Third through fifth grade students should read this book.
