Warriors: Sunset

This was a story about four clans of wild cats. The clans were Thunderclan, Shadowclan, Windclan, and Riverclan. The leader of Thunderclan, Firestar, appoints a cat to watch over Thunderclan when Firestar can’t, and his name is Brambleclaw. Thunderclan was trying to recover from a deadly badger attack, which left many cats badly wounded and some dead. This attack made Thunderclan’s medicine cat, Leafpool, left with many cats to care for while having dreams that Brambleclaw is meeting with his murderous father, Tigerstar. Also, Leafpool had a dream that told her a prophecy. The prophecy was, “Before All Is Peaceful, Blood Will Spill Blood, And The Lake Will Run Red.” Brambleclaw met with his ambitious brother, Hawkfrost, to talk of their plan to rule over all four clans which Hawkfrost thought would “be better for all cats”, and when Hawkfrost tricks Firestar into falling into a fox trap, Brambleclaw saves Firestar and murders his brother.

I like this story because it is about animals. I’ve always loved adventures books. I also like books with bloodshed, so this is the perfect book. It is a very interesting book with amazing twists and turns.

I recommend this book to boys and girls that are ten and up because there is a bit of bloodshed and violence. I enjoyed reading this adventures book and I hope you do too.
