This bok is about some animals that had to leave their home in Shady Glade. They left because monstrous machines were going to tear up their homes. Only the raccoon knew what the monstrous machines were going to do. So all the animals hopped on a train to find a new Shady Glade. They passed through lots of towns and villages, until they came to the right place. It was another Shady Glade.
I like the book because it showed that the animals were very brave. My favorite part of the story is when the raccoon couldn't sleep. When he finally fell asleep the train did a sudden stop and all the animals flew forwards. Then they found their new Shady Glade.
You should read this book because it tells how a few animals found their new home far away from their old home.
