This book is about two girls named Ada and Amber. They are living in two different time periods. The two girls both live in San Antonio, Texas. Ada is growing up in 1891 and Amber is living in 1991. The two girls go to the same well at the same time. They wish they were some where else and the switch places. Now Ada is living in 1991 and Amber is living in 1891. They hate their new lives and want to go back to their own homes. The did what ever they could to get back home. Will they get back? Read the book and you will find out.

I thought the book that I read, Switching Well, was a good book. I like this book because it was interesting how their lives were so similar and they seemed to wish the same thing, at the same time, and at the same place and then they switch lives. My favorite part was when Ada and Amber switch lives and they didn?t know where they were and how they got there. The character that I found most interesting was Ada. I thought that Ada was the most interesting because Ada is growing up in 1891 not knowing about the history of where she lived. When she went into the future she didn?t know what to do because she didn?t know anything that happened there, she didn?t even know that she was in her home town.

I like this book and I think other people should read this book because it is about two people living in the same town and switched lives. I think that people around 13 and under should read this book. I think that the two girls switching lives should interest people most.
