Arthur has a hard time seeing things. He goes to the doctor and gets new glasses. Nobody wants to play with him anymore. They just make fun of him because he looks different. Then Francine gets glasses too and nobody makes fun of him anymore.
My favorite part of the story is when Arthur goes into the girl's bathroom because he can't read the sign. It is funny because all of the girls were screaming. I didn't like the part where nobody would play with Arthur because that is mean. This story reminds me of the test we have to take to get our eyes checked. My favorite character is Francine because she is silly.
I think you should read this story because it is funny. It also teaches you not to make fun of someone for wearing glasses.
