The Chocolate Touch

In The Chocolate Touch, John finds a funny old coin. Then he goes into a chocolate shop. John loves chocolate, but there is only one piece of chocolate in the box that he buys. After he eats it, everything he eats turns to chocolate!

This book is a very good book. It has sad parts like when John’s mother turns to chocolate. There are also happy parts like when his mother turns back to herself. She turns back to herself when John stops being greedy. Sometimes it has both happy and sad parts. Chocolate lovers, read on!

This book would be good for people who like challenging texts, but it is not too challenging. This book is good for teaching children a lesson because John has to stop being greedy and think of other people. If you like this book, you will probably like Chocolate Fever, also.
