Thank you, Amelia Bedelia

Did you ever meet someone who always messes stuff up? Amelia Bedelia does! In this book “Thank You, Amelia Bedelia”, her boss, Mrs. Rogers said, “Great-Aunt Myra is coming.” Mrs. Rogers wants her to be comfortable so she makes a list for Amelia Bedelia. Mrs. Rogers wants Amelia Bedelia to make jelly rolls so…Amelia Bedelia gets jelly and rolls it around on the floor! Will Mrs. Rogers fire her or will her cooking save her again? Read the book to find out.

I like “Thank You, Amelia Bedelia” because Amelia Bedelia is really funny. She’s always messing up her chores. I like when Mrs. Rogers wants Amelia Bedelia to check each shirt, so Amelia Bedelia gets paint and makes checkerboard designs on the shirts! I like the illustrations in this book because they help me understand the things that Amelia Bedelia does that I don’t understand. I wouldn’t want to be Amelia Bedelia because I would always get yelled at by Mrs. Rogers. I would not want to be Mrs. Rogers because Amelia Bedelia would always be messing up her house.

People who like books where people always make silly mistakes should read this. The way Amelia Bedelia changes the meaning of words is really funny. I would recommend this book to a lot of other people who like funny books.
