This story is about a boy named Alexander who has a bad day. First he went to sleep with gum in his mouth and it got in his hair. Then he tripped on a skateboard and dropped his sweater in the sink. His brothers got a toy from the cereal box, but Alexander didn't. Then he got pushed into the mud by his older brothers and they called him a cry baby. These are just some of the bad things that happen to Alexander. You'll have to read to find out the other bad things that happen to him!
This is a great book because it has good pictures. My favorite part was when his brothers got striped shoes and Alexander got plain shoes because they were not being fair to him. This reminds me of my sisters because they are not fair to me.
I highly recommend this cool story because it has awesome pictures. I recommend this book to people that like other Judith Viorst books. This story is for people of all ages because everyone has bad days!
