John loved candy! He found a coin that had a fat boy on it. John?s initials were on it too. John bought chocolate with the coin. He ate it then when John brushed his teeth his toothpaste turned to chocolate. Then the toothbrush turned to chocolate too. Many things happened to John, he went back the storekeeper to get help.
My favorite part of the story is when John turned his mother to chocolate. I would love to take a chocolate mom to school for show and tell! I was glad that John decided to help her at the end. This story isn?t real because things can?t really turn into chocolate, but it would be fun if you could make one thing chocolate each day. This story is funny because John turns things to chocolate even when he doesn't mean to. Like his trumpet and his gloves!
I recommend this book for children ages 7 to 10 because it is funny. Right away in chapter one John turned things to chocolate.
