The Chocolate Touch

John was walking down a road. He found a coin there were initials on the back of the coin. The initials were JM. While John was walking he saw a candy store. He was looking in the window and saw a lot of chocolate. He went inside and looked at the coin and then he bought a box of chocolate. When he got home he snuck upstairs. He opened the box there was only 1 chocolate. And he ate it! The next day John went to brush his teeth he noticed his toothpaste was chocolate. So he went down stairs for breakfast. His eggs turned to chocolate and so did his bacon. He got a drink of orange juice and his orange juice turned to chocolate to. John was wondering what was going on. Read this story to find out what happens next!

I liked this story because John turned everything to chocolate but at first he did not know how it was happening. I liked it a lot because it was a funny book. I laughed when his trumpet turned to chocolate. My favorite part is when John turned someone close to him to chocolate. Sometimes I wish I could turn my brother into chocolate so he wouldn't bother me! I was happy when things went back to normal though.

I think children ages 7 to 9 should read this book. Younger kids might have a hard time with some of the words.
