John loved chocolate very much and he bought a big box of chocolate. He had to take tonic because he ate so much chocolate. Soon everything that John put in his mouth turned to chocolate including his toothpaste and gloves! John?s father took him to see Dr. Cranium and he said he had a chocolate disease. John asked the storekeeper when the chocolate things would turn to normal. John went to apologize to his friend Susan for the things that happened.
My favorite part of this book is when his mother turned to chocolate because John?s face looked really funny. My favorite character is John because the things he puts in his mouth turns to chocolate. The thing that is special about this story is that things turn to chocolate. Sometimes I wish I could turn things to chocolate!
I recommend this book for children ages 8 to 12 because of how you need your imagination to see how things turned to chocolate.
