The Chocolate Touch

John Midas was eating a lot of chocolate. John had to see Dr. Cranium. John wanted to see Susan Buttercup. John found a coin on the sidewalk. John spent the coin on a box of chocolates. When John got home, he had supper, took a bath, and took his tonic. John pretended to sleep. Next he got out the box and took out the one piece of chocolate and ate it. In the morning the toothpaste turned into chocolate, then breakfast, the glove, the coin, the pencil, the water, the trumpet, an apple, and his mom. He asked the storekeeper to save his mom. The storekeeper saved John?s mom. John chose never to be greedy again.
I liked this book because it is really funny. My favorite part was when John found the coin. It was interesting because it started the story and it helped to give John the chocolate touch. I liked John because he was greedy. This book reminds me of the Midas Touch where everything King Midas touched turned into gold.
I think people who eat chocolate should read this story.
