I read the book Junie B. Jones is a Beauty Shop Guy. It's about a little girl that wants to be a beauty shop guy.
The main characters are: Junie B. Jones, her dad and her mom. The setting mostly takes place at her house. The problem in the story is that Junie B. wants to be a beauty shop guy, but her parents tell her it will take her years of practice. So she practices on her dog and slippers. If you want to find out if Junie B. becomes a beauty shop guy, read the book to find out!
My favorite part of the book was when Junie B. cut her dog's hair and her mother found out. Her mother yelled at her. The dog looked naked!
My favorite character is Junie B. because she always makes me laugh whenever she gets in trouble. For example, when she cut her own hair it looked terrible!
There are a lot of illustrations and I like them because they have a lot of detail in them and a lot of them are very funny. One of my favorite illustrations is Junie B. hollering at her grandpa.
I recommend this book to a lot of children because Junie B. Jones is a Beauty Shop Guy is a great, funny book. I especially recommend this book to children in K-4th grade. They will think it is funny.
