Arthur needs to go to his swimming lessons by himself because his mom is busy. She tells him to take the bus. He decides to brings Buster along. They both fall asleep on the bus. When they get off they are lost. They can't call Arthur's mom because the phone at the restaurant is broken. They use all their money to buy junk food. Then they see a bus and yell, "Stop." The bus driver named Sam lets them hop on the bus for free and he takes them home. Everyone is happy that Arthur is back home again.
Our favorite part of the story is when Arthur and Buster fall asleep on the bus because they look funny sleeping. Our favorite character is Buster because he spends all his money on junk food. This story relates to our lives because our school has a bus and we have moms too. The pictures give you better comprehension of the story.
We think others should read this book because it teaches you common sense. Arthur was smart enough to figure out a way to get back home.
