The Cricket in Times Square

This book is about a boy named Mario that finds a cricket. There is a cat named Harry and a mouse named Tucker. When Mario finds the cricket, whose name is Chester, his mom does not want to keep it. When Chester starts to play music, she says he can stay. As Chester plays music, crowds come, and Mario and his family start to make money. Chester's life has really changed! What do you think he will do at the end? My opinion of The Cricket in Times Square is I liked the story because it had some funny parts. One of the funny parts was when Harry the cat was dancing to some music. Anther thing was when Chester was going home. He was waving until he was out of sight. The last thing was when Mrs. Bellini was humming to Chester's music. That was really funny. I liked the pictures in the story. My favorite part of the story was when Chester was leaving to go back to Connecticut. It made me want to read the rest of the book. I think eight-year-olds through ten-year-olds would like this book. I liked the story because it was funny, and I think other people will think it's funny, too. I think it was funny because the cat in the story was dancing to some music. I think the part that readers will like is when Chester goes back to Connecticut. It was funny when Harry, Tucker, and Chester were all waving until they couldn't see each other any more.
