The book I read is about a trumpeter swan that has no voice and can't make noise. In the spring Louis the swan lived in Canada. He hatched in Canada too. Louis's family flew to Montana for the winter. When he got to Montana they found a lake called the Red Rock Lakes.
My favorite part in this book was when his father stole the trumpet from Billings in a music store. Louis had to make some money to pay off his father's debt for the trumpet.
The theme of the story is that everybody can be friends even if they are different things and you can always make noise even if you don't have a voice.
I liked this book and I recommend it to people that like adventure and animals. Find out how Louis can get money by reading this book.
