Henry and Mudge and Annie's Perfect Pet

Henry and Mudge were playing with Annie outside. Annie used to live far away, now she lives next door. Annie loved Mudge and wished she had a dog. Annie's dad works a lot and cannot take care of a dog. She needs a pet that isn't scary, wet, hard, and doesn't fly. Henry's mother said a bunny would be soft, dry, and doesn't fly. Henry's parents took Annie to the pet store. Annie picked out a white bunny and it had pretty eyes just like Mudge. She took the bunny home and named it Snowball. Annie, Henry, Mudge, and Snowball loved playing together.

My favorite part of the story is when Annie bought Snowball because it made Annie happy. Annie is my favorite character because she is sweet and kind. This story relates to my life because I have a pet and the kids have pets in the story. The book has wonderful pictures that help tell the story.

I think that others should read it because it is a sweet and caring book!
