Flat Stanley

Stanley got flattened by a bulletin board when it fell on him while he was sleeping in his room. Arthur got mad because Stanley got to slide under doors. He had to go to the Doctor's office. Stanley was helping Mrs. Lambchop by getting her ring when it fell down the storm drain. Arthur put books on himself to get flat. Stanley wanted to be helpful to other people. Arthur wanted to fly a kite and Stanley said that Arthur could fly Stanley. Stanley helped Mr. Dart to catch the thieves. Stanley was sad because people were teasing him because he was flat. Arthur blew him up with a bike pump.
I liked this book because it was funny. One funny part is when Arthur puts books on himself so he could be flat. Another is when the police officer is talking to Stanley's mother when she lost her ring in the storm drain. The funniest part was when Stanley had to dress up as a shepherdess. He had to wear a dress. My favorite part was when Stanley got blown up by a bicycle pump. It was a happy ending because Stanley was back to normal. I liked the illustrations because they makes it easier for me to understand when I can see what the characters look like.
I recommend Flat Stanley because it funny and cool. It is a cool story. I think 2nd and 3rd graders could read this book.
