Flat Stanley

Stanley was flattened by a bulletin board that Mr. Lambchop had given the boys as a Christmas present. Since Stanley became flat he could do many new things, like go under doors. Another thing he could do was be helpful, like one time his mother's ring fell down a drain, and he was lowered into to the drain to get the ring. Stanley helped his brother by turning himself into a kite. A funny part in the story is when Stanley goes to the art museum to help catch the thieves. He has to dress up like a shepherdess, which is a girl.The thieves sneak into the museum to steal the paintings. Stanley catches the thieves and saves the paintings from being stolen. At the end of the story, Arthur pumps Stanley up with a bicycle pump in the end. So he is back to normal.
I liked the story because no person can be flat. My favorite part in the story is when Stanley was flat because Stanley could go under doors, make himself fit in a storm drain and make himself into a kite. It reminds me of my cousins. They are just like Stanley and Arthur because they get jealous of each other.
I think everyone should read this book because it is funny, especially when Stanley dressed up as shepherdess.
