This book is about a girl named Junie B. Jones. She thinks there's a monster under her bed, but everybody else says that there's not a monster under her bed. She doesn't believe them though, because one of her friends says there's drool on her pillow every morning. Her friend also says that the monster opens his mouth every night and tries to eat her head, but her head is too big, and the drool falls out of the monster's mouth onto her pillow. The truth is that Junie B. Jones drools on her pillow, but she doesn't think that she does that. That's all I'm going to say for now. The ending is a big surprise!
I liked this book because. . . . . it's soooo FUNNY!!! The story is really funny and the characters act in funny ways. My favorite part is when Junie B. Jones starts screaming like a scardey cat. It is my favorite part because I almost laughed out loud. My favorite character in the book is Junie B. Jones because she's the star of the book and the funniest character.
I think this is a good book for second graders because it has second grade words in it and it's really, really funny. I also think first graders should try reading this book because there is a lot of stuff in this book that first graders would enjoy, like when Junie B. Jones started screaming about the monster.
