This book is about a boy named Palmer that finds a pigeon and keeps it as a pet. The boy and the pigeon get into a lot of trouble. The boy is trying to save the the pigeon from his friends. Will he succeed or will he fail to save the pigeon? If you want to see what happens next, read the book and you'll find out.
I loved the book Wringer because it shows what the boy believes about life. He has to protect those that he cares about in life. He does this by keeping a lot of secrets. My favorite part of the book was when the boy found the pigeon. He had to keep the pigeon a secret though because he didn't want to become a wringer. That is what made the book so exciting.
I recommend the book because it hooks you on the book to see what might happen next. It is written for students that are in elementary school. I think even students who are a little older than that might even enjoy it too. I think what might interest the reader is all the secrets that Palmer had to keep from everyone.
