Holes

The book Holes is about a boy named Stanley. He went to a camp called Camp Green Lake because Stanley was wrongly accused of stealing a famous baseball player's shoes. Stanley has a few adventures and meets some new friends at the camp. He even finds something special at the end of the story.

I felt happy when I read this book because I liked the ending. Something I think is unique about this story is the punishment. The campers had to dig one hole a day. The hole had to be 5 feet deep and 5 feet wide. I think this book is really good. One reason why is that I like a good mystery. I really wanted to find out who really stole the baseball player's shoes. My favorite part is when the thief is revealed!

I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good mystery. I think that if you like a happy ending you will like this book. One reason for the happy ending is that they find something great at the end of the book. The something great is what everyone wants.
