Arthur's class was putting on a Thanksgiving play. Arthur was the director. He asked all of his friends and family to be the turkey, but nobody wanted to be the turkey. At the end Arthur was sad that nobody wanted to help him out. He thought he was going to have to play the turkey. At the end when Arthur was on stage in his turkey costume he turned around and saw his friends and family dressed up as turkeys too.
My favorite part of the story is when Arthur was dressed up on the stage like a turkey and turned around and saw his family and friends dressed up like turkeys too. I liked this part because Arthur realized that they did not let him down. This book made me feel happy inside. I like Arthur because he always has a lot of fun adventures.
I think everyone should read this story because it tells about Thanksgiving, friendship, and love.
