Sheila and her family moved to Tarrytown for summer vacation. She met Mouse, Betsy, Sondra, Jane, and Ootch. Sheila was a scaredy-cat. She was scared of thunder, dogs, and swimming. She learned how to swim by the end of the summer.
I think this is a good book. I like this book because a lot of it is funny. My favorite character is Sheila because she is different from me. I am daring, and she is always scared. My favorite part was when she swam across the pool. She thought she wasn't going to make it but she did.
I recommend this story because it was very funny. I think kids in the fourth grade could read it by themselves.
