This book is about Ariel and Grandma making a quilt for the baby. Ariel was going to draw the pictures and Grandma was going to sew the quilt. Then Grandma had a stroke and had to walk with a cane and couldn't sew any more. Ariel had to finish the quilt. They gave the baby brother the quilt.
I think this was good story. I felt sad when Grandma had a stroke and had to walk with a cane. I felt glad when Grandma told Ariel that they were going to make a quilt. I like Ariel and Grandma because they worked together. Ariel had to draw the picture, and Grandma had to sew it. The quilt was for the baby when he was born. This book is special because the quilt had geese flying on it. There aren't many quilts like this!
I recommend "Canada Geese Quilt" a little bit. I think more girls would like this book than boys. I think that third graders could read it on their own.
