Stephanie's Ponytail

This is a story about a little girl named Stephanie. Everyday she wants to wear her hair in a new and different kind of ponytail. Her mom would do her hair for her. Then when she would go to school and her friends would tell her that she looked ugly. Then the kids at school would all come back the next day with the same ponytail in their own hair. This did not make Stephanie very happy and she would yell at them. Stephanie was so tired of the kids copying her that she played a trick on them at the end of the story...you will have to read the book to find out what that trick was!

My favorite part of the story was when Stephanie wore her ponytail in front of her face and she couldn't see anything. So she would run into things at school. She even ran into the principal! I enjoyed the illustrations because I liked the way the illustrator drew the people and I liked the pretty colors he chose. The funniest part of the story was when everyone was wearing their hair in ponytails in front of their faces and the girls accidentally went into the boy's bathroom and the boys went into the girl's bathroom. This is my favorite book because I wear ponytails all the time and my name is Stefanie too!

I would recommend this book to anyone of any age because it is a funny story that teaches you that you should not copy other people.
