This book is about Charlotte the spider and Wilbur the pig. They are very, very best friends. Mr. Zuckerman was going to kill the pig. Then Wilbur asked Charlotte if she could help him. Charlotte said, "Sure". Then she thought about a plan. The next day she put a word on her web. It said, "Some pig". Then she wrote other words. Then they went to the fair. First Uncle, the pig, won. Then Wilbur won first prize.
I think the book is very good because it has funny pictures. It had funny parts too. Like when Wilbur tried to spin a web by himself. I also liked when Mr. Zuckerman and Lurvy tried to catch Wilbur when he got out of his pen. Lurvy missed Wilbur and caught something else. That made me laugh. I like the part when the geese cheered, too.
Kids should read this book because most kids would like it. Some kids may not like it because the end is very sad. People should read it because it is a good book. The level fourth grade is good for this book because it has some hard words in it.
