Tuck Everlasting

The book is about a ten-year old girl, Winnie Foster, who runs away from home. When she is in the woods she meets a seventeen year-old boy named Jesse Tucks. The Tucks are hiding a really unusual secret. The entire Tuck family has lived forever. Where Jesse Tuck and Winnie meet is a tree that has magical water that can make you live forever. If you touch that water you will stay the same age and you will look the same for eternity. There is a man in a yellow suit who does not like the Tucks and is looking for Winnie. After they see the man in the yellow suit, Mae Tuck, Jesse Tuck?s mother, kills the man in the yellow suit. After that, they put her in jail, and the Tucks try to get her out. If you want to find out what happens to Winnie Foster you will have to read to find out.

After I read Tuck Everlasting I thought it was a really nice story. The book means more to me than the movie because there is no romance in the book, and Winnie Foster is only ten in the book not fifteen! I like this story because it is about friendship and fantasy, two of my favorite topics. I like Winne Foster, because she has a good sense of humor. She seems like an older version of me. The secret in this story is very unique because it is really unusual that someone could live forever.

I would definitely recommend this book to a friend. I would recommend it because it has friendship and fantasy and whoever likes those topics will like this book. So go to your nearest bookstore and buy this book today!
