This book is about this pig named Wilbur. He got raised by this girl named Fern. He went to live on Fern's uncle's farm. Her uncle's name was Mr. Zuckerman. He was going to kill Wilbur, and Wilbur was worried. Then Charlotte, a spider, saved Wilbur's life by writing words in her web to trick Mr. Zuckerman. Wilbur won a medal at the fair because of Charlotte. Wilbur did something for Charlotte before she died. What was that? You should read the book so you can find out what happened.
I liked this book because I liked Charlotte. She saved Wilbur's life. I liked her character the best out of the whole book. My favorite part is the first time she saved Wilbur's life. That was when she first met Wilbur, and the sheep told him he was going to be turned into smoked ham. She put "Terrific" in her web, and she tricked Mr. Zuckerman.
I recommend this book because it's about characters saving each other's lives. It was a good book. I think 3rd graders and up should read this book.
