Lewis and Clark - Explorers of the American West

This book is a non-fiction book about two people named Meriwether Lewis and William Clark who went on a journey for the president of the United States to explore unknown territories, observe the land and animals, and find easier ways to travel, and find out about how the Indians were living in the west. In the middle of their journey they met five Indian tribes. They met the Arikaras, Hidatsa, Teton Sioux, Mandan, and Yankton Sioux tribes. If you want to find out more about their adventures with the Indians and what they saw in the wilderness you should read this book.

We like this book because it has beautiful illustrations that helped tell the story. We found it interesting how they made friends with the Indians and how the Indians helped the explorers. We didn't know that picture books could be this interesting. We found it interesting how they made things to help them on their journey.

I (Cameron) recommend this book for people who like exploring. I (Corey) recommend this book to people who like adventures. We recommend this book to people who like biographies.
