This book is about a boy named Peter. Peter just won Dribble, a turtle, at Jimmy Fargo's birthday and no matter how many times he tells his little brother Fudge, "NO!", Fudge still touches his turtle. His second problem with Fudge is when Fudge wrecks his poster board assignment for school. He and his best friend Jimmy have been working on it for weeks. His third problem is he has to be the game manager for Fudgie's birthday party. Peter's fourth problem is that Fudge HAS to get the exact same shoes as he gets. His fifth problem is his mother's leaving and his dad has to take care of them. His sixth problem is his dad makes BLAH food. His seventh problem is Fudge swallows Dribble and Dribble turns out dead.
My favorite part of the book was when Fudge was kicking and hollering in the shoe department, and Fudge ends up getting the same shoes as Peter. I disliked the character of Sheila Tubman because she was mean to Peter and his friend, Jimmy. Fudge reminds me of my cousin when she tried to wreck my agenda.
I recommend this book because it is funny! Students in third grade and up can read this book.
