The book is about Chinese New Year. They scare the bad spirits away. They put money in a bag for good luck.
I liked the book because it has firecrackers and it's dangerous when the firecrackers explode. I liked it because the boy gets money. I liked it because I learned about Chinese New Year.
I think other kids would like this book because you get money for Chinese New Year
