Do you like surfing and hot places? Then The Magic Tree House series book, HIgh Tide in Hawaii is the book for you. In the beginning, Jack and Annie land in Hawaii and meet some new friends. In the middle, Jack and Annie started surfing with his new friends. At the end, a big tidal wave comes. Do you think they survive or do you think they get wiped out? You’ll have to read the book to find out for yourself.
I love this book because they go to Hawaii and whenever they go somewhere it’s always show stopping. I thought this book was ok because instead of writing their names they put he and she. Also my favorite part of this book is when Jack slowly got up from his surfboard. I think this book was like a I Survived book because there's a lot of big waves.
I give this book 3 stars for funniness and 5 stars for adventure and 4 stars for creativity.
