Galaxy Zack Hello, Nebulon!

Galaxy Zack Hello Nebulon! by Ray O’Ryan is a book about a boy named Zack who moves to a new planet. In the beginning Zack is on a space cruiser sighing. Zack is leaving Earth, his friend Bert and his dog Luna. Zack looked out the window and saw Venus and Mars. Zack falls asleep and he has a nightmare that his classmates would be monsters. After the cruiser arrived at Nebulon, Fred Stevens, Zack’s dad’s new boss, told them to pick a car. Zack picked a small green box that turned into a cruiser. At their new house, Zack had a personal assistant called Ira. She helps them get whatever they want. The next day Zack went to school. He made a new friend, Drake Taylor. They eat lunch and ride the bus together. Zack is still sad about leaving Earth even though he has a new friend. Read the book to find out if Zack will stay happy on Nebulon with his new friend Drake.

Galaxy Zack Hello Nebulon! Is a fantastic book with great characters and great illustrations. My favorite illustration is when Zack got his dog Luna back. I liked that part because the picture shows Zack getting happy with Luna. The illustration made me smile because it showed Zack getting knocked down by Luna. She is on top of him licking him. Zack has a big smile on his face. My favorite character is Zack because he was brave to give Nebulon a chance. Zack went to school, asked for help, and ended up making a new friend. When he was getting on the bus and he looked around and didn’t see anybody, he wanted to go home. Then Zack heard someone call out, “Hey Zack, there is a seat over here.” The guy that shouted was Drake the same boy that helped him at school. The part that I really liked was when Zack drank the spudsy melonade drink popular on Nebulon. It was the first time he was happy on Nebulon. That is why I liked that part. These are all my reasons for liking the book.

I recommend this book to second through fourth graders. I think this because it has short chapters, but it’s still a long book. This book is adventurous and entertaining for kids.
