Poppleton the pig wanted to get another bed so he went to the bed store. He had the same bed when he was a kid and he did not like the first bed or the second bed. He did not know what bed to pick! So the first bed he tried reading a book on it, Poppleton said no. Then on the second bed he tried eating crackers on the bed and so many crumbs fell on the bed. Then, Poppleton tried laying on the bed and watching tv. If you want to know if he got a bed you just have to read the book!
I really like this book. Poppleton is a really funny character. This book has a lot of jokes. The book makes me laugh so hard and my laugh makes me laugh even harder. The book is funny because Poppleton says, “Do you have a tv and crackers?” The author Cynthia Rylant really makes a lot of funny jokes. Cynthia Rylant is a nice author because she makes her books very funny.
I recommend this book for ages 4-9 because there are easy words and short sentences. You can also tell what the words say by looking at the pictures. It is a very good book. This book is mostly for second graders so if you are a second grader, you should read it. If you are in first grade or kindergarten you should read it too!
