Mrs. Patty Is Batty is a great book! Mrs. Patty gives out the best candy in the neighborhood. People say that Mrs. Patty is a witch and her husband is a ghost! Will A.J. risk his life to get the best candy in the neighborhood? What will happen to A.J.? Go check out the book in the library. In my opinion, Mrs. Patty Is Batty is the best book I have read. The illustrations cracked me up. I thought they were so cool because they made me laugh, were very detailed, and were black and white. This book reminded me of Mrs. Lilly Is Silly because the teachers are both crazy. Dan Gutman writes both books. He writes a series of books called My Weird School Daze. Mrs. Patty Is Batty is one of the books in that series. This book is very enjoyable!
I recommend this book to kids that like surprises and adventures. I think Mrs. Patty is crazy because she is a…hey, wait I can’t tell you that! Go check out this book as soon as you can. The type of readers that would like this book should be ages 8-11. If you like getting a little scared read this book. If you like a funny picture once in a while check out this book. I think how Dan Gutman writes might interest readers. He makes you picture things in your mind. Dan Gutman is a great writer. Go check out this book.
