For the Love of Autumn

In the beginning of this book, Danielle and her cat, Autumn, moved to Washington on the coast. When Danielle brings Autumn to work, the kids love to play with her. But one day there was there a storm and Danielle was looking for Autumn. Danielle could not find autumn. Some days later Autumn came back and Danielle was happy. Autumn brings along someone when she returns.

I like this book for a few reasons. My first reason is when Danielle looked at the flea collar and switched it to a pink collar on Autumn. The illustration of her face looked so surprised that someone put a flea collar on Autumn. This illustration was funny to me. My second reason is when Dan got Autumn, she was so cute. I would care for Autumn like she was my own cat. My third reason is when Danielle was calling the man who put the flea collar on Autumn. Autumn was so happy that she was dancing.

I recommend this book to my friend J.J. because he will like the book and maybe he will get a cat. I would love to read even more Patricia Polacco books to see if there are similarities to For The Love of Autumn.
