In the beginning of The Reptile Room ,three children named the Baudelairs Violet, Klaus, and Sunny had to go live with Montgomery Montgomery , their distant relative because they lost their parents and house in a fire. Next they have fun with their new giddy uncle and even eat coconut cake! But these are not ordinary kids …. They have missfourtion and you know … anything can happen. Then just as things where good, something terrible happens to Uncle Monty in the reptile room. After that it takes a long time to get a doctor because Stefano (A.K.A. the evil Count Olaf) has something to hide. In the end will Count Olaf’s secret be revealed? Read the book to find out!
In my opinion, A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Reptile Room is a great book. To start with the book has some comical moments when Uncle Monty asks Mr. Poe if he wanted a carrot instead of cake! Another is it leaves you on a cliff hanger and wants you to read the next book to find out what happens. Lastly Violet makes a last minute discovery of what’s inside Count Olaf’s suit case. All in all you should read this book from 3-6 grades because it is adventure filled book that, you need to read ….before it is too late.
Do you like books with lots of adventure? Then A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Reptile Room is the book for you. It makes me feel so happy that I have people who love me and make me feel happy when I am sad, but the Baudelaire’s don’t have….any. In give this book a 5 star rating but with all of my heart I wish that the Baudelaire’s could have a better life but no, that’s not how the author made it. I recommend this book to people who are not, I repeat not afraid of reptiles, but I think grades3-6 should read this book. In conclusion, I think you would like this book if you are ready for miserere.
