This book starts out with Frog coming into Toad’s house even though Toad didn’t say that he could come in. Toad won’t get up from bed. He said he won’t get up until May. Frog rips Toad’s calendar until it’s on the May page. Did Toad believe that it was May or not? Read this book to find out.
I give this book a big thumbs up for many reasons. First, I liked it because Frog was happy and I love happy characters. Also, I thought the part where Toad was grumpy was funny, too. Finally, my favorite part was when Frog woke Toad because it was very funny. As you can see, it’s a book worth reading.
I would recommend this book to any first or second grader that likes animals. This story made me smile.
