Flat Stanley

The main character is Flat Stanley. He turns flat in the first book of the series because a book shelf falls on him. He never gets back to being normal so that is why he is always called Flat Stanley. In this book Stanley goes to the haunted house for a party. He wonders if the house will be scary because he likes that. Find out if it is scary enough for Flat Stanley.

I like this book because it is funny, for example Stanley goes to the costume party as a donut. He looks awkward and silly. The illustrations are good and show you what he looks like. Like Stanley I like haunted houses. Halloween is my favorite season and this story takes place in October. It makes you think of Halloween, people dressed up in costumes, haunted houses and some creepy stuff, but not too much.

I recommend this book if you like Halloween and if you love haunted houses.
