Happily Ever After

Did you ever wish for something that came true? If so then read Happily Ever After by Anna Quindlen. Kate loves baseball and fairytales. She has a baseball mitt that she doesn’t know is magical, but it is! One day Kate was in her bed and wished one day I would like to try being a princess someday. A miracle happened! Her wish came true! Kate found herself with her mitt, in a tower, as a princess! Kate meets a prince and together they slay a dragon and fight knights! After that they get on a white horse because they have to go to the castle. When they were halfway there, a troll and witch stopped them. They forced the prince handover Kate! Will Kate ever get back home or to the castle? Read the book to find out!

I like this book because it is suspenseful! I think this because you wonder is Kate ever going to get home or is she ever going to get out of the woods? Also I like this book because it is hilarious. I think this because Kate teaches the princesses in waiting and the maids how to play baseball! I like Kate because she is kind. In the story she teaches the witch and troll games because they have no friends. They are actually nice but everyone else assumes they are mean because of who they are. This book reminds me of my life because I wished for a dog and I got a dog, just like Kate wished to be a princess one day and her wish came true. These are some reasons why I really like this book.

I recommend this to people who like adventure stories. I think this because Kate goes on a big adventure being a princess for a little while for the first time! Her adventure contains: being in the woods with a troll and a witch, slaying a dragon and fighting knights! I hope you read this book and like it like me!
