At the beginning of the story a boy sees a moose and he throws him a muffin. But there's a problem if you give a moose a muffin, he will want some jam to go with it. He will want another and another and another. It will never stop. So he will want to buy more muffin mix. The moose feels chilly and he will want to borrow a sweater. He will see one of the buttons are loose. He will knit the button back on. That reminds him of making a puppet show out of old socks. Read the story to find what silly things that happen in this story. At the end the moose gets one more muffin and jam to go with it.
My favorite part of the story is when the moose puts the sheet over himself and says, "Boo!" This story reminds me of getting in trouble over and over and being sent to the corner.
My opinion is this a funny story because the moose makes sock puppets.
I recommend this story because it made me laugh at the moose and I hope you have some laughs too.
