If you love rabbits and adventure you would love the book The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane. The main character is a china rabbit and he goes on a journey. On his journey he switches owners. Some of his owners are a five year old girl, a fisherman’s wife, a hobo and many more. If you found this interesting, then just wait for the book!
My favorite character is Edward. I liked when he started caring about people because I like caring about people too. I especially liked reading his thoughts throughout the book. I enjoyed learning about all of Edwards different journeys. I loved visiting the different places with Edward and meeting his different owners. My favorite part of the story is the ending of the story. (I can’t tell you, it’s a surprise!) The end of the story made me feel overjoyed! Edward changed from the beginning of the book to the end. In the beginning of the book Edward didn’t care about anybody except himself. In the end, he began to care about others.
I think other people should read this book. I think kids in grades 3-5 would like this book. It has some hard words but they are fun to learn. I think learning about all of Edward’s journeys will interest anyone who reads it!
