This book is about a boy named Jonah, who was adopted, and his sister Katherine. When Jonah meets a guy named JB he learns that he and his friend Chip are not 21st century kids. He learned that kidnappers had gone back to the past, kidnapped kids from the past and brought them to the future. Now Chip (one of the kids from the past) has to be returned to the past for a little bit to fix history.

I really liked this book because it had a lot of adventure and there was never a boring part of this story. It had you asking questions all through the book. I also liked this book because at the end of each of these books (this is a series) you have a lot of questions you can’t find out the answers to unless you read the next book. I found Jonah interesting because he is very different from Katherine. It seems like he doesn’t really fit in and you'll have to read the book to find out why. Something unique about this book is that other books don't have that much about people who are adopted. I felt really curious about what happened next when I read it. There was a surprise at the end of each chapter that was not expected at all.

I recommend this book. It’s a good book for people that like books with a lot of adventure. You won’t be bored while reading this book. I think people 9 and up would enjoy reading this book. I think what might be interesting when people read this book is that it is about time travel. It’s cool to go back in time in books.
