This story is about a little girl that asked her adopted parents about the night she was born. The main character was a little girl that was probably four years old. The girl remembered that her mom said she was a perfect baby. She had long skinny fingers, perfect pink toes, and a perfect banana head. The little girl also remembered when her parents brought her from the hospital they carried her like a China Doll, and how her mom stared at anyone who sneezed. She remembered about her first bottle and how she liked it a lot. The little girl also remembered her first diaper change and how she did not like it at all.
(Rociel P.) My favorite part of the story is when the little girl said that her Granny and Grandpa did not hear the phone because they slept like logs. In this story, I learned that just because someone is adopted, it does not mean their parents will not love them.
(Yestriel H.) My favorite part of the story was when the author said that the little girl had a perfect banana head. This part of the story was very funny.
We recommend "Tell Me Again About The Night I Was Born", to people who are adopted. This book will comfort them when they are feeling blue because they will understand that they are not alone and that other people are adopted too.
