Have you ever been home on a boring weekend with nothing to do? These two buddies were, so read the book to find out and hopefully when you’re done and are bored at home, you can do what they did.
I liked this story because the pictures are colorful and they help the reader understand what is going on. Henry and Mudge are fun characters and do silly things together. This book reminds me of the story we read in class called Because of Winn-Dixie because both characters have a loving bond to their pets and they are inseparable.
I recommend this book because it’s fun to read and the characters are silly. The pictures are colorful and they help you understand the story better. I think children in second and third grade should read this book because Henry and Mudge are good friends and have fun together. This book is 40 pages long and when you finish this one, there are plenty more books in this series to read.
