In this story, a kid named Colin has spent weeks making his sneakers smell as bad and stinky as possible. He is doing this because he wants to win the Stinkiest Sneakers in the World contest. If he wins he gets three brand new Slam Dunker sneakers for three people: his little sister Amy, his best friend Webster and himself. After thinking he was going to win the contest, his stinky sneakers go missing and Colin suspects that they were stolen!

I liked this book because it is like the Captain Underpants series. It is funny because Colin and his friend Webster get into trouble while they are trying to solve the mystery. They also have to avoid a bully who threatens Colin. The bully wants to win the contest.

This book has the same kind of easy writing to read as the Captain Underpants books. Nasty, Stinky Sneakers is so easy to read that you can read it and listen to music at the same time. This book does not have a thousand words a page, so it does not really take a long time to read.

I have two favorite parts in this story. My first favorite part in the whole book was when Colin got his shoes "stolen". This is my favorite part because I just wanted to see what Colin would do when he found out that his shoes were stolen. I think it is funny when things happen to people and they have to figure out what to do about it. Kind of like what happened to the Survivor 2 people when their camp was flooded, and their rice was taken away from the camp. I think those things are funny. Don't you?

My second favorite part of the book was when Colin finally found his sneakers. He went to the contest and he saw that the bully was there. You will have to read the story to find out where Colin found the sneakers and who actually took them.

This story reminds me of when my brand new shoes got stolen off the school rack outside my classroom door. The only different thing about my shoes and his shoes is that my shoes weren't found and his were. There is another different thing about his and my shoes, because mine were clean and his were not. Also, I wasn't in a contest for the World's Stinkiest Sneakers contest. I would love to go into the contest for the World's Cleanest Sneakers, but there is probably not such a thing.

I recommend this book because it is an easy book to read it will keep you busy, but not too busy so you can do any thing else. I would recommend this book to a 10-year-old kid. I'm saying for a 10-year-old because I read it when I was in grade four. It has suspense, adventure, and humour in it.
